Today we possibly was finding out the sex of the baby. Moe had being having complications. The morning sickness wasn’t letting up and her blood pressure was extremely high. She didn’t take my word for it, that she was pushing herself, all she was focus on was her career.

Dr. Howard explained, “Monique I see that your feet are swollen and your blood pressure hasn’t dropped, have you been getting the rest I informed you of?”

“I have been trying with my new business opened up it requires a lot of my time,” Moe replied.

“You do know going on like this can cause you to go into labor early, so you have to choose what’s more important your job or your child,” Dr. Howard advised.

“Doc you don’t have to worry about that any longer, I’ll make sure she is taking it easy at home, even if I have to strap her to the bed,” C confirmed.

“Let’s take a look and see how’s the baby doing we might be able to see the sex, did you want to know?” Dr. Howard asked.

“Yes.” they both grinned.

“Well your about four months. It looks like you two are having a boy, he is going to be a big one. Are you open to a c section if he isn’t too big to deliver vaginal?”

“I don’t care how he come into the world as long as it’s safe.” Mimi assured.

“I’m prescribing you something to control your blood pressure, remember bed rest and I’ll see you in a few weeks.” Dr. Howard said.

The doctor left us alone while Moe got dress, she was contemplating being on bed rest, but I wasn’t giving her a choice.

“You can work from home, Mimi don’t need you in the office daily. What else will you need to keep you occupied at home?” C asked.

“I’ll be good as long as I have my computer, phone and the fridge,” Moe joked.

“I got you boo!”

The Bay was cloudy and drenched in water. The winter was here. I had a surprise for Moe today. Mimi helped me find us a six bedroom home in Fremont in the cuts. Decorating the house would keep her occupied and give her something she loved to do, spend money.

“Are you happy were having a boy?” Moe asked.

“Am I! The sex didn’t really concern me as much of just having a healthy baby, time to pick out baby names.”

“Chris where are you taking me? We passed up our exit,” Moe asked.

“Just sit back Boo, I need to go handle something real quick you want to stop at Krispy Kreme?” C replied.

She nodded her head, stopping in Union City we got our donuts and was headed to our new home. When we pulled up, I notice Mariah had made it.

“What is Mimi doing here?” Moe asked.

Opening up her door, I escorted her to the front door and handed her the keys to our new home.

C responded, “This is our new home, I hope you like it.”

“Oh my God! I can’t believe you did this!” Moe shouted tears falling.
